Summer learning journey : Day 2 Task 3

I remember when me and my dad were brave enough to catch the rabbits that we have right now. At first I was scared to go near them because I thought they were going to jump on me , then the next day me and my dad finally took the courage to go and catch them . So we took some rabbit pellets and a cage and we caught them eating the grass in our front yard so we shook the pellets and they came to us .

They came up to me and I was scared a little but me and my dad managed to catch them , so now their in their forever home. And this was all thanks to me and my dad's courage . Here is a picture of them .

  1. Tena Koe Brendan,

Wow, what a cool post you have today about you and your dads bravery and courage! I think it was so brave of you to go out and finally catch those bunnies and I am so happy that you have said they are now in their forever home. Do you know where the bunnies came from? Or where they yours but they kept on running away.

I worked at a school where they had 4 pet bunnies, so I can see why you were scared of them because they are so fast and jumpy. So kei te pai on gaining the courage to go out and get them! Are rabbits the only pets that you and your family own, or do you have others?

Have a marvellous rest of your day,
    Ka kite ano.

    Kueni :)
