Activity 2 : What's in a name (4 Points )
Umm I wouldn't change my name just because I was named after my older brother who passed away when he was born because it would be rude and I like the name Brendan . Even if I had the choice to change my name I wouldn't .
Hello Brendan,
ReplyDeletethis is Melita from Christ The King School. That so sweet of you to name your name after your older brother.
Well done brendan
Have a great day,
Melita
Malo e lelei Brendan,
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas and Happy New Year. I hope you have been enjoying this holiday period and have had some happy moments with your whānau. I was lucky enough to get away with my son and spend some quality time with him and my immediate family. We spent a lot of time at the beach enjoying the beautiful sunshine. What have you been up to this summer?
Thank you so much for sharing the meaning behind your name, Brendan. You must feel so proud and honoured to be called the name of your older brother. I am sorry to hear of your brother not making it into this world, he must be so special to you and your whānau. I think it is a beautiful thing being named after a family member. My middle name is Alice which is a name that has travelled down the generations. It was given to me when I was born to honour the wahine in my family. I share this name proudly and it reminds me of the women in my family who walked this world before me.
I love how on this programme I get to know more about you and the other tamariki participating in this programme. If there is anything you would like to know about me, please ask. I would be happy to share with you.
Kindest regards,
Megan :)
