Dear Jacinda Ardern ,
My name is Brendan I am 11 years old and I go to Wesley intermediate school the issue I want is housing.
I strongly believe that people that are poor should have the chance to know what it is like to live in a proper house and know how it feels to go through having to pay bills and stuff of those sort . I also believe that people shouldn't just be left on the road because if you saw a little kid or a baby without anyone to be cared for you would take that child and care for it .
But if you make a big apartment for poor people to live in you wouldn't have to see them on the roads and if they don't have money you could get them jobs to help out the community that they are in and pay them .
I hope you take this into consideration if you are reading and maybe this would be a helpful idea to stop poverty . Thank you for your time .
Kind regards , Brendan

I’ve just read your letter to Jacinda and I think it’s awesome! I like how you’ve written it in a letter format and I can tell you feel strongly about making sure everyone has somewhere warm, dry and safe to sleep! If you were Prime Minister, would this be the first thing you’d try and tackle?
