Day 1
We had arrived at the prison and I had to live in a small damp concrete cell and I slept on a straw mat for the first night .
Day 2
During the day we were forced to work in quarry as our punishment and we had to break rocks into gravel . Basically I had done this until I was to that I had to go back in my cell , and my hands were as red as my blood .
For a whole week we had to work and I was only allowed to see on visitor and receive a letter from my family every 6 months. After a long day of work at the quarry I come back to my cell and start studying to be a lawyer.
Everyday I would just of what I would do when I get out prison .
Now I am one of the most famous and most and the most inspirational people in the whole entire world.

Tālofa Lava Brendan,
ReplyDeleteKueni here again from the Summer Learning Journey. I hope you have been enjoying your summer break, what have you been getting up to?
Well done on completing Week 2, Day 2, Activity 1: Nelson Mandela Journal entry. I personally like this activity because you get the chance to put yourself in someone else’s shoes and write from their perspective, which is a really cool writing activity.
I enjoyed reading your journal entry today because you didn’t just write about one day but you made a little story about it which I think is really cool. I especially like how you highlighted in your blog post that he is one of the most inspirational people in the whole world because it is true!
Did you know very much about Nelson Mandela and his story before you did this activity?
Keep up the hard mahi!
Kueni :)
