Activity 2 : Overcoming Adversity [ 4 points ]
I remember a time where we had to face a challenge and it was when we had to catch the rabbits that were living on the road. The rabbits live in our backyard right now but when they were on the road we had to face a huge but small challenge .
We had to try and catch them without hurting or scaring them and before sunset . So I remembered that we had rabbit food in the house , so I put it in the bowl and took it outside.
Then I took it out to my dad and he shook the food to make noise so they would come closer and it worked . Then we got a 2 baskets and we put the food in one and left the other one on top so we can close it when they come in . We went back inside and a few minutes passed by then we went back outside to check and they were both inside so then we quickly closed them in.
Now we have 2 wonderful playful rabbits and we have overcame a great challenge .
Here is a picture of the one we have but one of them died and so we caught the other one that's in the bottom photo ( Black and white) :
The small baby rabbit we had bought since the other one that's standing up in the first photo died.

ReplyDeleteTālofa Lava Brendan,
ReplyDeleteWell done on completing today’s activity about a time when people you know or you faced a challenge and overcome this.
I remember reading a similar post of yours like this when you talked about being brave, I think is awesome that you have used this same story line again but added more detail and different parts.
What an awesome job you and your family did at catching the rabbits and giving them a home, that is so nice of you! I am so sorry to hear that one of the rabbits died, that must’ve been really hard for you all as a family.
What did you end up naming the two rabbits?
Tofa,
Kueni :)
