Today I had to write down what I did this morning in English and then translate it in Shakespeare.

This morning I woke up and went to brush my teeth . After I went to eat my breakfast and then I finished my breakfast I went outside for fresh air and to see my rabbits.

This m'rning I did wake up and wenteth to brusheth mine own teeth. Aft'r I wenteth to consume mine own breakfast and then I did finish mine own breakfast I wenteth outside f'r green air and to seeth mine own rabbits.
Activity 3 : (6 points)
Dear diary 2018 Family New year
Today was the most the astonishing day of my life ! I went to Pt chevalier park with my whole entire family and that took up like half the park . I had so much fun when I got there we did a whole family ripper tag game and it was so funny . All the kids would play while the older kids would play and the elders would watch and cook the food . It was QLD vs NSW and Queensland won 16 - 11 and we got to eat first before NSW or anyone else . I was so hungry after all that running and tagging but then I got big plate of food from my Aunty and ate it all up . Some of the older kids and the adults went to have a little swim before we all go home while the kids were doing some cool activities like : tug of war , capture the flag , rugby , orienteering , etc . After all that finished me and my family went home after a long day of sports and eating but mainly eating. I was looking forward to a new challenge of 2019 .

ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed reading your Shakespeare translation. It’s quite a fun thing to do isn’t it - after I read yours I went and tried it out myself!
Secondly, thank you for sharing that diary entry! It does sound like an incredible day. Spending time outside with family and yummy food is always a great time! I love Pt Chev park too, it's a fabulous spot! Have you been to Pt Chev beach too?

Don't you think that Shakespearean English is so strange and unusual? When I tried it out for myself, the apostrophes and new words just confused me and I actually thought it was quite funny. That is so cool that you have rabbits! I love animals, and rabbits are co cute furry little animals. How many rabbits do you have?
I really like your detailed diary entry, seems like you had a lot of fun! It seems like it was a really big event for you to play a bunch of party games! What was your favourite game? Your whole family must consist of a lot of people to take up half the park, do you know how many people attended? That's great that you had loads of fun with your family, it's good once in a while to get out and enjoy the weather.
I love spending quality time with my family on a nice day out like the bay or a cool sighting place.
